Angela Fox, Ockenden Cottage. Cuckfield, was fined £1 for for causing an unobscured light to show from a window of her house during the blackout on April 17, evidence being given by PC Wheatley.

Notes: Angela Fox was a former comedienne and actress, and mother of James and Edward Fox. She lived at Ockenden Cottage which is in South Street beneath the 'umbrella tree'.
