In 1934 local Wallsy man, Mr Cantello, takes payment for a Snowfrute from six-year-old Maurice Revell while Edna and Albert Avery and James Revell enjoy similar refreshments.
The visit of the Wallsy man, peddling his blue and white cart, was a highlight of the week. For a child with only a halfpenny a kindly Wallsy man might use a sharp knife to cut a Snowfrute in two.
Sadly the tricycles were requisitioned in 1939 for use at military installations and in 1947 Walls sold the remaining 3,300 tricycles.
