Footpath in ill repair

To the Editor of The Mid-Sussex Times.

Dear Sir, Taking a walk through Blunt’s wood to Cuckfield just recently, I was astonished to find the thoroughfare path at Hatchgate Farm completely torn up by cattle ruts, and in a terrible state of mud and mire. If the farmer will remake the path, it will be greatly appreciated by the public and much to his credit.
