Off to the front A large number of Cuckieldians assembled in Broad-street on Wednesday and gave a hearts send-off to Mr HM Bridgman, MD. a member of the Urban Council, and also Cuckfield's representative on the East Sussex County Council, who is going to Dunkirk to help collect the wounded on the battlefields. He has a well-equipped ambulance lent by Mrs Wynne, an officer's widow, and is medically equipped in a splendid style. Several local residents have given Mr Bridgman cheques and drugs, etc.
