Accident to a marker While the monthly rifle shooting competition was in progress on Saturday on the Cuckfield range Sergeant Brookshaw was struck by the splinters of a bullet, which hit the mantelet behind which he was acting as marker. Sergeant Brookshaw was severely cut on the arm and head. Dr. Byass, after attending to the injuries, ordered Brookshaw home to bed.
