CUCKFIELD. THE COUNTY COURT.-

Mr. Trevor Pollard and Mr J. C. Buckwell, of Brighton, are getting up a memorial to the authorities, asking them to have the county court sittings removed from Cuckfield to Hayward’s Heath.

At the Brighton County Court, on Friday, Judge Martineau remarked that the Cuckfield Court was situate in very inconvenient part of the county, and was very uncomfortable. He thought the court might, with advantage, be moved to Hayward’s Heath, as it would be much more convenient for suitors, witnesses, and solicitors.
