CUCKFIELD
The lovers of the freaks of nature may have their curiosity gratified by a visit to this place, where they may see a hen, in the possession of Mr Parker, with three legs, completely formed; a cat, in the possession of Mr Hammond, with three legs; and a lamb, in the possession of Mr Godsmark, with the ears and tail similar to a dog, and hair on its back instead of wool. The lamb was lately dropped by a ewe belonging to Mr Pennifold, of Lyes Farm, in this parish. There is also a boy, the son of a cottager, who has one side of his face covered with soft hair, like the skin of an ox.
